I began my time at Hudson Kenpo to learn the 'motion' of the art. I was not interested in hitting anyone, nor being hit. In time, I learned that what I study is a "contact sport". I have come to value the claim that our school colors are 'Black and Blue'.
I am pleased to work with my fellow students on the training mat. The system of American Kenpo requires a constant focus on the basic moves. It is said, the art lives at the outer edge of simplicity and the inner edge of complexity.
